__________________________________________________________ Due to personal experience and analysis of different forms and methods of evangelism which are taught in many congregations, and having heard many testimonies given by pastors, evangelists, teachers, and leaders of different organizations who have attended this seminar, we have no hesitation in saying that this type of discipleship has been given, by the Holy Spirit, to the church today as an extra and adequate resource and answer to those who do not know God, providing solutions to their difficulties, hopes and enlightening their dark mentalities and/or confusions that continually perplex them. For this reason we believe that a seminar about personal evangelism in the style of Jesus of Nazareth - not just a method but a life style, a practical way of life - its adoption and faithful application, shall result in the simultaneous and spontaneous bearing of fruit. The teaching is based on three, as Jesus emphasized, unmitigated axioms: Love, Obedience and Holiness. When pursued without reservation, these help the Christian to live and grow spiritually. It is the essential exercise that every child of God must do. This is not a new doctrine, because these basics have been in the Bible for about 2,000 years now! What's new is the order and form of presentation and teaching. It is a life style, a daily practice, not a theology, theory or the memorization and recitation of verses. You evangelize through your holy life as you practice love and justice - being an example to others, the non-believers in your home, work-place, school, neighborhood, streets and in the church. By living the Gospel we will be able to evangelize and make disciples among the non-believers, fulfilling the Great Commission: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age." Amen. (Matthew 28:19-20) __________________________________________________________ |
